Drag Queen Story Hour is Child Abuse
It makes me wonder, if young impressionable kids are exposed to this so early, might they be reasonably confused about their gender in the future?
If you’re a parent or grandparent do you see “Drag Queen Story Hour” as an OK outing?
I personally see it as child abuse.
I had a child who was terribly afraid of people in costumes. Clowns, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the tooth fairy - all were terrifying.
The circus was terrifying as well.
We avoided them all.
And Halloween - horrifying, up until first grade age.
I can’t even imagine going to a Drag Queen Story Hour for the first obvious reason, my kid was terrified of costumed people, but for a second reason, I considered it my job to teach about diversity, tolerance and inclusion, not a Drag Queen at public library.
While Drag Queen Story Hour is promoted as family-friendly event to promote “reading, tolerance, and inclusion” it is also promoted as where “kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where everyone can be their authentic selves” and to “celebrate diversity.”
What are the children really being taught to accept?
Why do young children need to defy “rigid gender restrictions”?
Maybe if we don’t inflict this sort of nonsense, they’d actually “be their authentic selves”.
There was a gay activist who recently killed himself because of the response he received from his own LBGTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or sometimes questioning)) community.
Why?
He objected to Drag Queen Story Hour (search on “Wilson Gavin Drag Queen Story Australia”).
Now if you don’t know what Drag Queen Story Hour is, it generally takes place in a publicly funded place like a library or a public school where a local “Drag Queen” (men who dress up like very scary looking women) performs or reads storybooks about “inclusion” to preschoolers and sometimes grade school age children.
Let that sentence sink in a minute.
Now put that paragraph, the one where I described the gay activist who killed himself, together with the idea of “inclusion”.
Remember our discussion about diversity, tolerance and inclusion (Jive Turkeys)?
A prime example of the hypocrisy I was writing about there.
So you don’t really know what a Drag Queen is and why a lot of parents object to this trend in “public education “?
We are talking about adult men, performing in provocative, sexualized costumes. The kind women don’t typically wear, certainly not when invited to read to children.
“They” are counting on you not knowing what a Drag Queen really is. They want you to believe Drag Queens are a harmless segment of the LBGTQ community. They aren’t. They have a dark background that is highly sexual in nature. They want that dark background erased and they want it to be normalized.
Drag Queens came from the development of the blackface minstrel shows in the the early 19th century where white men would dress up as black men, or very scary looking women, and mock black men and heterosexual women.
Vaudeville in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s was another place Drag Queens performed making fun of heterosexual women. In parallel, happening in the 1880’s, “Drag Balls” were emerging in New York City where it was common for gay men to dress as women to perform and “compete” for different titles.
Many of the titles were sexual in nature.
“Ball Culture” is sexual in nature, and if it’s not sexual, it’s certainly “adult” entertainment, not children’s story hour.
Much of what goes on at Drag Queen Story Hour can be considered indecent exposure, which used to be illegal.
Some people believe these people should be carted off to jail because they view this as pedophilia.
Others feel the parents who take juveniles to these events should be carted off to jail for not protecting their young children from this deviancy.
In many circles, drag is considered “kinky” yet it is promoted as “normal” because we have allowed the lines of decency to become blurred in the name of “inclusivity”.
Drag Queen Story Hour, in reality, has become a sanctioned activity where our children and grandchildren have become playthings of perverts. We have other-gendered people inflicting their kinks on our kids and grandkids in the name of education and “inclusivity”.
These same kids can’t read, write or do arithmetic.
This is why many, many parents object to Drag Queen Story Hour. This nonsense is placed well above reading, writing and arithmetic.
It makes me wonder, if young impressionable kids are exposed to this so early, might they be reasonably confused about their gender in the future?
My kid wanted to be a dinosaur, a construction vehicle driver, a pirate. I couldn’t imagine what my reaction would have been to “I want to be a Drag Queen mama”.
We have an over sexualized society these days and I feel for anyone raising young children these days. Don’t let your peers, or anyone else try to convince you that is is “OK” or what contemporary parents do. Don’t be fearful about job, social standing, or the other kids in school. This is child abuse at the least and pedophilia at worst.
Children under the age of sixteen should not be sexualized.
They should be protected and allowed to be children as long as possible.
Men dressing up like scary women reading “politically correct” stories about “inclusion” is ridiculous. Some day you’re going to need to teach your own version of diversity, tolerance and inclusion. Hopefully your lessons will be something bigger and more meaningful than “Drag Queens”.

My previous perception of drag queens was that they wanted to be edgy, not perform for children.
It is all part of their agenda.
They are coming for our kids and they want them sterilized permanently.
