What Do You Wait For?

You may not realize you’re waiting, but you are.

Another in my What Do You Wait For? series.

What Do You Wait For?

Hummingbirds of Course!

I’m not a fan of Winter.

Spring is my favorite season as you’ve learned in a previous post: What Do You Wait For?

In fact, if I could, I’d migrate like a hummingbird.

They go to warm places in the Winter.

I’m making plans to do just that, I’ve just spent the last 2.5 weeks in Florida looking for a Winter landing place.

Just Winter though. I love my farm!

Before I left for Florida, I had noticed that our hummingbirds had returned.

[Fun fact: if hummingbirds like the place they will return to it year after year. Hummingbird fun facts here.]

I hung our feeders because I knew the same “early Spring” three would return, as they have for the last several years.

By mid-July, we’ll have twenty to thirty summer guests (as shown in the video above).

I look forward to seeing them each year, they are a whole lot of fun to watch and a sure sign that Spring has arrived.

What do you wait for?

Tell me in the comments.

Come on, it’ll be fun!

What Do You Wait For?
In this immediate gratification world we live in, there are some things worth waiting for. You may not realize you’re waiting, but you are. Presented periodically.
