I love hearing about your kitties. I took one of my 4 to the vet this morning, turns out he has an ear infection and was overdue for blood tests and a checkup (he's 13). A 23-minute drive there had me wondering why San Diego doesn't have more mobile vet services. I can't imagine taking my cats anywhere in an RV, I'd end up as an alcoholic. You are brave souls!

He’s much better, thanks. Still dealing with health issues in the other 3 - one has herpes in his left eye that causes corneal ulcers (we’re looking at a $5800 surgery coming up, and yes, removing his eye would be half that cost - can’t bring myself to that yet) another has asthma (in a cat? What the heck?) and needs an inhaler. Third one was feline resorptive lesions and will eventually lose all his teeth (he’s down 10 teeth already). Remind me to never have this many cats again! I love them all but the elderly pet expenses are brutal. Two are 13, one is 11, and chubby asthma boy is 9. Oy vey. 🤷🏼‍♀️

January is a very good time to go to Florida.

It is rather amazing in Tennessee they do not do much of anything in prep or clean up of snow.

I have heard that from my son in law.

I want to go to Alaska in August. Not this year, maybe next year.

You took lovely photos, thanks!! I have never been to Florida

long story, but I will shorten it.

My single sister, a bit older than me, adopted a boy from Russia about 25 years ago

She lives in Maryland and I live in Northern Virginia. We see each other often. Her son is a darling. She thought he might live at home foreverrrrr.

In March, he and his good friend, packed up Andrei's car (Subaru) and they drove to Lutz Florida, got cheap housing on some college campus (not sure how that works)

and he is working at restaurants. He has had jobs in restaurants since he was 16. So he is confident in that line of work.

My sister just left this morning from her house in Maryland, to fly down there to visit him.
