The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a Comedy Horror Musical, has been running continuously in theaters longer than any other movie (46 years) in history and is among the top-grossing musicals ever released in North America.
It debuted as a weekend midnight show in Manhattan on April Fool’s Day in 1976.
Number eight among all live action musicals it has grossed $113 million since 1976. Adjusted for ticket price inflation, The Rocky Horror Picture Show has sold a whopping $479 million worth of tickets. 76th place among all films, just ahead of Sylvester Stallone’s “Rocky,’’
At the time, it was a cult movie.
It always was a midnight showing.
People didn’t just watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show, they participated, complete with costumes, props, and vulgar audience participation.
One often left the theater with raw ground beef and rice in their hair.
I only went once in 1978 to this film, just to see what it was all about.
In 1978, the ideas portrayed were considered deviant.
It was a movie that featured transvestites.
In 1976 the word transvestite meant “someone who adopts the dress or manner or sexual role of the opposite sex”.
Transvestites were also viewed as exhibitionists crying for attention or having a mental illness, depending on how extreme the behavior was.
The word “transgender” is a new word in popular culture. Your woke warriors and keepers of popular culture invented this word so people see them as victims of being born in the “wrong” body.
In our modern culture, victimhood is good.
Search on the word “transvestite” and you’ll find all kinds of politically correct definitions and writers stumbling over themselves to soften and reshape this word into a “modern” meaning.
It’s a word you rarely hear these days, but I’m bringin’ it to ya.
You cannot avoid hearing about transgenders these days, their issues are crammed down our throats daily.
It doesn’t matter where you read.
Just because a man puts on a dress and says he’s a woman does not mean he’s a women. Especially if he doesn’t take the “transformation” all the way. “Tucking it” is gross, and if, as this individual you really believe you’re a woman, why not get rid of the one thing that makes you not a woman?
Too expensive?
What is too expensive if it makes you whole?
If it makes you who you are meant to be?
The irony of those “tuckers”.
I have friend who is an endocrinologist. Endocrinology is a subcategory of biology and medicine dealing with the endocrine system, part of this medicine deals with hormones. (Someone who is “transitioning” will be seen by an endocrinologist.) In dealing with a particular transitioning situation in which she was uncomfortable, she said, “Only God can make a tree”.
Declaring one of these individuals as woman of the year, or the best swimmer in women’s sports or giving one of these individuals a beer or a sports bra sponsorship is pandering (the act of expressing one's views in accordance with the likes of a group to which one is attempting to appeal).
This particular type of pandering, where men think they are women, is horrific, it denigrates all women.
Do you really want to denigrate (to say that someone or something is not good or important) biological women? Because that’s what you’re doing.
It’s the purest example of sexism (prejudice or discrimination based on sex or gender, especially against women and girls) I’ve seen in a long time.
If a man, who “identifies” as a man, who really is a man, but felt like a free peep that day, walked around in a woman’s locker room buck-naked, he’d be arrested.
If an “in tact”, “trans” swimmer, who used to be a bad male athlete, until he decided to “transition” walked around in the woman’s locker room buck-naked at the expense of the real women on the team, is celebrated, I have to ask - what’s the difference here?
This is normalizing deviant behavior.
It is celebrating mental illness.
Human psyche rejects biological anomalies. And yet, you have society telling you this is fine.
It’s not fine.
It’s a disconnect you need to overcome in order to feel mentally healthy and happy.
In fact what you should feel is outrage. Particularly if you are a woman.
In 2023, where we’re supposed to be so “modern”, we have men dressed as women, still sporting a dumb-stick (in tact, functioning penis), defeating women in their own, hard fought for arenas.
Why is this OK?
It’s not.
It’s OK to feel the outrage and to express it.
Out loud.
It’s the only way this warped culture trend changes and makes a better future for our daughters.
Since the 90’s, we as a culture, have been so focused on making sure our girls are “empowered”, that they get the same “chances” as boys do, we practically lost a couple of generations of boys. You’ve been feminized according to plan.
While we may have many “empowered” young women, we have young men, boys really, who are afraid of them.
Could this explain why boys want to be girls?
Transgenders Are Destroying Women’s Sports
A Proposed Rule by the Education Department presented Thursday April 6, 2023, by the Biden administration, which it is eventually going to sign off on, destroying Title’s IX (part of the the Education Amendments of 1972. It prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or any other education program that receives funding from the federal government):
The Department therefore proposes that the current regulations should be amended to provide greater clarity regarding the scope of sex discrimination, including recipients' obligations not to discriminate based on sex stereotypes, sex characteristics, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Education Programs or Activities Receiving Federal Financial Assistance
This rule will eventually wipe out women’s sports.
H.R. 734 – Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023: This bill generally prohibits school athletic programs from allowing individuals whose biological sex at birth was male to participate in programs that are for women or girls.
If the President were presented with H.R. 734, he would veto it:
H.R. 734 would deny access to sports for many families by establishing an absolute ban on transgender students—even those as young as elementary schoolers—playing on a team consistent with their gender identity.
The political left have become misogynists (a person who hates or discriminates against women).
There aren’t many women standing up to this threat to women’s athletics.
That's when I realized that the NCAA no longer valued everything that I, my teammates and every other girl swimming that day had worked their entire lives to achieve. The goal was no longer excellence in women's sport. The goal was virtue signaling on the backs of women. Men and women are different. Men should not be competing against women, and certainly not against women in women’s sports.

I have 63 years of womanhood, and there’s no confusion here.

We’re all grown up and we have money.

It’s a mockery of women and downright degrading.
This is what true misogyny (hatred of, aversion to, or prejudice against women) looks like.

Why?
Cultural appropriation is when somebody adopts aspects of a culture that’s not their own.
Cultural appropriation begins in government run schools, that would be your local public school by the way. If a kid is unhappy, it must be that they are the wrong sex, say the people who run these places.
They “help” by convincing the kid they need to “change” biological sex.
They hide it from parents.
This is just the start of the child abuse.
Then when little Johnny or Janey is miserable as a teen, the real abuse continues.

Society has made it chic to be “trans”, especially for individuals who feel outcast.

How mad do you think “poser-trans folks” and misguided children will be in the future when they realize they made a mistake because of a suggestion from someone else?

It’s OK for a young child to transition to the opposite sex, but can they choose what they get to eat for dinner? One has to be sixteen to drive a car, but full speed ahead at any age to flip-flop your biological gender. One has to be eighteen to join the military, twenty one to drink alcohol in most states, and now twenty one to buy a long gun, but balls to the walls to get you changed to that other version of you.
These viewpoints are not transphobic, in my opinion, and in the opinion of a lot of other quiet Americans. When one group is raised up above all other groups it’s called discrimination, it’s exclusionary.
In this case it’s women being discriminated against, it’s women, biological women, being excluded.
Why isn’t the trans crowd and those who support them called heterosexualphobic?
Why aren’t they called haters (of biological women)?
Because I know someone with an opinion like mine will be called a “hater”.
Count on it.
But it isn’t only cultural appropriation stealing jobs from women.
Three huge American companies who put a transgender face on their brand gave many of their customers the middle finger.
Why?
Is it just virtue signaling?
No.
A company‘s first responsibility is to market a product and maximize profits for shareholders but also to treat their customers with respect.
Unfortunately, these huge corporations have been blackmailed by the woke investment banking community into subverting their goals and overlooking their fiduciary responsibility.
Human Rights Campaign
CEO’s are concerned about a social credit score that could make or break their businesses. The Corporate Equality Index (CEI) score, which is overseen by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) the largest LGBTQ+ political lobbying group in the world.
The HRC, was formed in 1980 and started the CEI in 2002. It is led by Kelley Robinson (the first Black, Queer woman to lead the organization) who was named it’s president in 2022, and who also worked as a political organizer for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
HRC, issues “report cards” for America’s biggest corporations via the CEI: awarding or subtracting points for how well companies adhere to what HRC calls its “rating criteria.”
The HRC lists five major rating criteria. Each rating criteria has its own lengthy subsets, for companies to gain or lose CEI points.
The criteria headers with brief description are:
Workforce Protections. 5 points possible
Policy includes sexual orientation and gender identity/gender identity or expression for all operations.
Inclusive Benefits. 50 points possible
To secure full credit for benefits criteria, each benefit must be available to all benefits-eligible U.S. employees. In areas where more than one health insurance plan is available, at least one inclusive plan must be available.
Supporting an Inclusive Culture. 25 points possible
Businesses must demonstrate a firm-wide, sustained and accountable commitment to diversity and cultural competency when it comes to LGBTQ+ Internal Training and Accountability Efforts.
Corporate Social Responsibility. 20 points possible possible
Businesses must demonstrate ongoing LGBTQ+ specific engagement that extends across the firm. Five Distinct Efforts of Outreach or Engagement to Broader LGBTQ+ Community.
Responsible Citizenship. -25 possible
Employers will have 25 points deducted from their score for a large-scale official or public anti-LGBTQ blemish on their recent records.
Point Allocations
Businesses are rated on a scale from 0 to 100, with a certain number of points awarded for meeting each criterion. The HRC Foundation will continue to award partial credit to employers that have satisfied a portion of certain criterion.
HRC sends representatives to corporations every year telling them what they have to make visible at the company. They give them a list of demands and if they don’t follow through there’s a threat that you won’t keep your CEI score.
The CEI is a part of the rapidly developing ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) “ethical investing” movement which is being promoted by the country’s top three investment firms, BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street Bank.
ESG funds invest in companies that oppose fossil fuels, push for unionization, and stress racial and gender equity over merit in hiring and board selection.
As a result, some American CEOs are more concerned about pleasing the country’s top three investment firms, who are also among the top shareholders of most American publicly-traded corporations including Nike, Anheuser-Busch and Kate Spade) than they are about pissing off customers.
These top three investment firms invest in companies which results in corporate expansion but also executive bonuses.
So there’s your reason for the illogical placement of transgenders on American brands.

)But is it ethical to place this microcosm (a little community or society) on American brands?
Who does it attract?
Does it make you feel “included”?
We’re fascinated with a boy pretending to be a girl for 365 days and yet we’re not all that interested in why a transgender killed children while they were at school.
Both individuals are mentally ill in my opinion.
Transgenderism is being pushed as a normal lifestyle and the case is being made everywhere is that anyone who does not support that lifestyle and some of its extremes, is homophobic (irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals) or specifically, transphobic (fear or hatred of transsexuality).
It’s funny, when you hear the radical left (liberal people who are irrationally extreme in opinion or practice) say to defund police and send social workers (people who help people prevent and cope with problems in their everyday lives) say to a school shooting3 instead of police, they are admitting these folks are mentally ill don’t you think?
The recent Nashville shooter (six people were shot and killed) identified as trans and was under doctor’s care for emotional disorder.
Aberdeen shooter (four people were shot and killed), Snochia Moseley, a 26 year old who identified as female suffered from bipolar disorder and depression.
Oli London is a social media influencer with over two million followers between TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter, spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on surgeries to look like a Korean woman. He transitioned back after living as a trans Korean woman for six months, saying the changes he decided to make to his physical appearance weren't the answers to his problems.
There’s more to this list, but you get the idea.
Neurodivergent is a non-medical umbrella term that describes people with variation in their mental functions, and can include conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other neurological or developmental conditions such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Neurodivergence is a concept originally attributed to the 1990s sociologist Judy Singer, a self-advocate with autism who challenged conventional ideas about what is considered normal and abnormal. The school my kiddo attended before we homeschooled suggested he was ADHD, and at one point it was also suggested he was on the autism spectrum (Asperger’s).
Turned out he was highly gifted.
Traits of giftedness are similar to ADHD traits and some Asperger’s traits.
In having studied both ADHD and Asperger’s in depth and knowing how cruel kids can be when another kid approaches life differently, it’s no wonder so many of these kids can be convinced they are in the wrong body.
Who doesn’t want to be accepted?
If you are not familiar with Autism/Asperger’s, they are developmental disorders that, among other things, lead to difficulty with social interaction. Autism is at the extreme end of the spectrum where Asperger’s is not, though common with both is that individuals have difficulty with social interaction.
This raises the question of what role being autistic might play in the formation of our personal experience of gender. For example, autistic children are less sensitive to social cues than typical children and may not make friends with or become part of groups of same-gender peers. At first glance, it may not seem apparent that autism and gender dysphoria would be linked. Autism is a developmental disorder that, among other things, leads to difficulty with social interaction. Gender dysphoria, by contrast, involves a person experiencing mental health issues because their assigned sex does not match their gender identity.
There are studies that connect transgenderism and autism.
Most of these studies proclaim that a significant number transgenders are Autistic.
Sort of like saying “died with COVID” don’t you think?
I submit, they were Autistic and then became transgender.
But think about these ideas in a classroom setting.
When my child was in a school setting 90’s it was a common situation for teachers to suggest ADHD to get “unruly” kids on Ritalin (a habit forming drug used to treat attention deficit disorder). They knew most of the basic symptoms of ADHD and often applied the list to every distracted kid.

Is it reasonable to make the comparison of Ritalin of yesterday to transgenderism today?
The current increase in transgenderism is a social contagion (the spread of emotions or behaviors from one individual to another, sometimes without awareness) in my opinion. The more it's talked about, the more impressionable minds it alters.
And if the kid is anywhere on the Autism scale, or ADHD, don’t you think they are easily persuaded?
Think about one of these kinds of kids observing drag queen story hour.
How is this not preying on a vulnerable population?

Too far?
Maybe.
When I keyed “my child thinks they are trans”, it autofilled.
My research found two sides of the coin, once to embrace it, the other guide them away.
In my opinion, embracing it is a cowards way out.
You are the expert on your kid, no one else. Especially if they are a minor.
My kid wanted to be an astronaut, a policeman, a dinosaur, never a girl, so I really cannot empathize (be able to understand how someone else feels) with someone who may be experiencing this firsthand, but I can say, from experience, if a public school teacher is suggesting your child is transgender, do your research before you accept the “diagnosis”.
Misrepresented TERF An abbreviation “trans exclusionary radical feminist".
In the 11th edition of the GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Reference Guide the use of the word transgenderism is to be avoided, stating that is a term used by anti-transgender activists to dehumanize transgender people and reduce who they are to "a condition" or a "dangerous ideology" that threatens "free speech." Yep. That’s me. They just get to say it and it is what they say. Words. They don’t belong to anyone.
This hasn’t happened yet, but it’s where some cities are headed.
A lot of information to unpack here Collette! I remember just within the last year when I first heard the phrase "pregnant people" on a radio ad. Things are changing quickly. Thanks for the info about CEI ratings, I was completely unaware.
My bigger question is why we are so fascinated with Transgender Women but don't give a care about Transgender Men? Literally, none of them are making waves. Sure you have Elliot Page but where have they been in the news? Now they're just part of the white male patriarchy.
